Band members attend EC clinic
By BEN WALL Students from Scott Central High and Jr. High attended the East Central band clinic on Friday, February r and Saturday, Februaary 5. The students were ranked based on their tryouts which consisted of 3 scales and sight read ing. First band : clarinets, Mil licent Bradford, first chair and AkiiJ h Nicks, sixth chair; trumpets, Sarah Whitesell, third chair and Shane Campbell, sixth chair; trombones, Chad Harrison, seventh chair;
tubas, jason Harrell, second chair; a nd percussion, Corey Robinson, fourth chair. Second band: trumpets, Brad Si– grest, first chair and Ben Wall, e ighth chair; "flute s, Ouida Townsend, eleventh chair; clarinets, Melissa Knowds, fourth chair; bari– tones, William Perkins, second chair; french horns, ~ichard Ed– wards, second chair; trombones, Sherry Parker, eleventh chatr, bass clarinets, Jamie Hall, second chair; and mallets, Shelly Riser, first chair.
