Special BSU Entertainment.. . John Yates, a music evangeUst, ventriloquist and Christian entertainer from Hixon, Tennessee, reacts to sounds made from one of his " associates" during his recent appearance at the Baptist Student Union on the East Central Community Col– lege campus. Yates , described as an "outstanding communicator" for all ages, performs throughout the South for revivals and various other religious activities. He pre ented several programs for ECCC faculty and studenb and was a pecial guest of BSU Director Tim Glaze.
EC Sr. Day is Thursday Seniors representing Newton County high schools will be special guests of East Central Community College during "Senior Day" ac– tivities scheduled Thursday, February 24, 1994, on the Decatur campus . Huff Auditorium.. Program activities get under way at 10 a.m. in the auditorium follow– ed by campus tours and interest ses– sions which conclude at noon. The visiting students will be treated to a cookout on the East Mall area followed by a concert by the Col– legian , East Central's vocal/instru– ment pop group.
