Out tanding Diamond Warriors... These members of the East Central Com– mumt) College baseball team have been named first team All-State foll owing the recently com– pleted 199~ campaign. Dumas, a graduate ot \\ a,hington High School , posted a S-3 mark and led the ECCG pitching staff with a 3.02 ERA. Coole) , a product of Newton County High School, had four home runs, 12 doubles, 38 RBh and batted .338. Gray , a former standout at Neshoba Central , led the Diamond Warriors m home runo; (6), doubles (20) , RBls (48), total hits (58) and had a .379 average. h ey, another " e\Hon County High School product, blasted five homers, six doubles and hit .348. He also had 27 RBis and nine stolen bases. East Central, coached by Jamie Clark, finished the season with 28-20 overall record and 14-10 mark in South Division competition. (EC Photo)
