Down 30-0 at halftime, East Cen· tral Community College rallied tor 17 points the final two periods; but the Warrior comeback was not quite good enough as ltawamba held on for a 30-17 homecoming win Saturday night on the Fulton campus. East Central, still winless in six games, scored on an eight-yard run by James McGee, a five yard pass from Omeri Green to Frederick

Tate, and a 40-yard field goal by Peyton Weems. Weems also kick· ed both PATs. Itawamba, which improved to 5-1, was led by quarterb~k Ron Dixon who found paydirt on runs of 37 and 7 yards. East Central will host Hinds (5-1) this Saturday in the Warriors' an- · nual homecoming battle. f(jckoff is set for 2: 30 p.m. in Warrior Stadium.
