Bridgman coached East Central for three seasons, compiling a 4-25- 1 record. East Central was 2-8 this season after ending the season with consecutive victories over South– west and East Mississippi The resignations of Bridgman and assistants Tommy Spillman and Kelvin Lyon are effective at the end oftheir current contracts. Eddie Smith, president of East Central, said the school will receive applications for the bead coaching po– sition through Nov. 30. Smith said he hopes to have a ~ew.coach by ~an. 10.
