Carson to lead Delta Kappa Gamma

for the 1994-96 biennium. Founded on May 11, 1929, in Austin, TX. Delta Kappa Gamma is an eduational, honorary and profes– sional organization for women edu– cators. The Society promotes profes– sional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in edu~tion through various programs, proJeCts, workshops, publications and scholarships at the international, state and local levels. Xi Chapter, organized in DecatUr on December 11, 1954, covers the geographical region of Newton and Neshoba counties in Zeta State, Mis– sissippi of the Delat Kappa Gamma Society International. Mrs. Carson has served on the ECCC staff since 1982. She is mar– ried to ECCC band director Thomas W. Carson and they have three child– ren: Christopher, Jennifer and Jeremy.
