The con ference was held at Primos North- gate Convention Center in Jackson on April21 and 22. The Family Child Care Network was cited by Family and Work Insti– tute of New York as one of the cur– rent national initiatives working to improve the quality of family child care. Family child care providers, according to the Institute's recently released study, are more likely to be providers of quality care when they "seek our opportunities to learn about childen's development and child care, have higher levels of edu– cation and participate in family child care training."
