EC cage teams· off and running

East Central will participate in the J ones Invitational November 11 -12 in Ellisville, with the Lady Warriors and Warriors challenging Mary Holmes on Friday and Wallace State on Saturday. Game times each day is 2:15 for the women's action and 4:15 in men's play. East Central travels to East Mississippi on Monday, November 14. The next home games are scheduled Tuesday, November 29 against Southwest. G~me times are 6:00 and 7:45 .

A jam-packed Brackeen-Wood gym witnessed successful home openers for both East Central Com– munity College basketball teams on Monday night, as the Lady War– riors crushed East Mississippi 82-64 and the Warriors outscored the visiting Lions 85-73. Both l:.C squads also posted wins in season opening contests at Mississippi Delta Friday night. The Lady Warriors trounced the Lady Trojans 70-45 while the EC men cruhcd to a 67-61 victory.
