McNichols Signs With EC~C Union High School senior O.J. McNichols (center) signed a grant-in-aid basketball scholarship with East Central Community College last week. ECCC coach Marty Cooper (~ted, left) said that McNichols will likely inherit the point guard position on his team. " I 've been watching him for three years. We'd like to have it in his hands a lot. We signE:d O.J . because of the kind of person · he is and for the work he has done in the classroom," Cooper said. On hand for the signing were McNichols' mother Rosie and Union High coach Steve Harber.
