Decatur; Joel Nelson, Newton; and (standing from left) Yancey Mason, Philadelphia; Joe Clark, Decatur; Bryant Johnston, Carthage; Lamar Adams, Meridian; Carl Hollingsworth, Decatur; and Don Walters, Newton. Winners in the nine-hole event were Mason, who carded a 45 to capture the women's division , and Nelson who shot a 33, two-under par. to claim the men's chamoionship
