Todd Vow I to lead Winston attack for East Central team

Winston Coun ty players are expected to play a maJor role in East Central Community College's 1993 football season. Thirteen players from the county, including five returning sophomores, wall be in Warrior uniform when the season kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2 on Warrior Field in Decatur against the Eas t Missassippi Lions. Sophomore quarterback Todd Vowell , a product of Winston eademy, is expected to start the fim game, although he recently underwent orthoscopic surgery to remove bone and cartilage chips. "My 5 houldcr feels better every day," Vowell stated. "I'm not throwing to full capacity yet, but it's tmproving every day."
