She parti... cipated in the Gifted Program and several other areas of academic com· petition. She was also the recipient of various academic awards and other honors. At East Central, the freshman pre– med major is a member of Sigma Sigma Mu Tau and theconcertchoir. Blackburn, an mstruc– tor al ECCC, was invited to the Sep– tember meeting of the local chapter of the National Association of Retired Federal Employee to offer hints and suggestions as to~ one

can save energy in the home. The songs were just an added treat. Insu– lation, stopping air infiltration, and good maintenance habits were just a few suggesuons offered by Mr. Blackburn of the things one can do to reduce energy usage. President Nina McKee conducted the businCS-) session, updating the members on bills before Congress that affect retired federal employees.
