Signs ECCC Scholarship... Becky Luke (right) of Hickory has become a member of the 1993-94 East Central Com– munity College women's softball team following s~holarship sign– ing ceremonies recently held on the Decatur campus. Luke, shown with ber parents, Joyce and Robert Luke, was a member of the Newton County High School squad which won the State Class 3A Championship and finished the season with a 35-10 record. East Cen– tral initially began women's softball competition this pasfspring with an all-volunteer group that posted an 8-14 record under Coach Mike Anderson. (EC Photo)
