A lotal of just four points kept both East Central Community College ....,._tball teams from advancing in South Division Tournament action during competition held last week on Pearl River Community College campus in Poplarville. Although Sammy Pace's Lady War– rtrs 03-8) and Jay Bowen's Warriors -5) were eliminated from the state playoffs, both squads have qualified -.fir the Region 23 Tournament scheduled March 4-7, 1991 at Mississippi College.
The Warriors, a first-round 68-65 winner over Pearl River , fell in semi– final action to Jones by an 80-77 margin on Wednesday nighl. East Central scorers in the three– point defeat included Tony Bailey, 17; Kevin Kennedy, 13; Tyrone Stowers, 11; Terry Thames, 10; LuU1er Riley, eight ; Mark Stribling, seven; Vandy Hopson, five; Marvin Nash, four; Michael James, two, and J .P .
