At the spring Awards' Day C .-e– mony, Tam ri!Ccived the "Freshm n Math Award", and the "Secondary Education Award". · Tam is a Math Education major and plans to -=-t~nue her cducat.t1 1n at Mississipp State University.

D1c United States Achievement ademy announced today that Tam 1,er of Decatur has been named an All-American Scholar. The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award Prog– ram in order to offer deserved recog– nition to superior students who excel in the Academic disciplines. The AU-American Scholars must cam a 3.3 or better grade point average. Only Scholars selected by a school instructor, counselor, or other quali– fied sponsor arc accepted. Those scholars are also eligible for other awards given by the USAA.
