ECCC Continues 'First Course Free' Policy

In an effort to further encourage adults who lack college training and desire to return to the classiOOm, East Central Community College in Decatur is continuing its policy of offering the frrst course at no charge to those who qualify for the special program. Under the college's "First Course Free" policy, any adult who resides in the five-county area who has not previously enrolled in college and who otherwise meets entrance requirements, may take the frrst col– lege credit course "free of charge" at any East Central class location in the district. according to Gene David, ~rt Dliettor of Adult and Continuing ~cation.
