Six students were inducted into the East Central Community College Hall of Fame for 1990-91 during Awards Day activities recently held on the Decatur campus. Those selected fo r the prestigious honor, the highest award presented to an East Central student, include Cay Clark of Chunky; Michalle Everett of Hickory; Ab Germany and Karla Munn, both of Decatur; Jim Holder of Union; and Michelle Mitchell of Morton. Michelle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Mitchell, is a graduate of Morton High School. She serves as vice-president of the Student Body Association and was voted 1990 Homecoming Queen. A Dean s List Scholar, Mitchell is a member of various campus organi.ations and committees, including Warrior Corps, Phi Theta Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta!" 1 Sigma Sigma Mu Tau, Student ~udiciary Court, Absent Appeal Committee, Parking Committee, RA Food Committee, ElectlO ommittee and Presid e ouncil. She has also served as a cheerleader for the football and basketball teams and as a member of the Roundball Recruiters and Diamond Girls. She also participates in intramural sports. Mitchell has been named to Who's Who Among Students in American Community and Junior Colleges. Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Clark, is a graduate of Hickory High School. She was recently named to the 1991 Academic AU-American Team for Community Technical and Junior College Students. She has also been chosen an All American Scholar and Phi Theta Kappa All– A..-.,eric.an .tes She is a Presidents List Scholar, having maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average each semester.
