Without the volunteer assistance of Greg Jeffcoat and my son, we would not have had anyone to call defenses or tendencies from the press box. No other program in the state faced this problem. Ironically, ECCC's only other playoff appearance resulted in a 24'15 semifinal loss to a Kilpatrick:– coached Holmes team that went on to defeat Pearl River 31-6 to claim the 1~1 state championship.
