Dr Gerald L. White has been n,uncd Dean of Students at East Central Community College, an– nounced Dr. Eddie M. Smith, col– lcgl' president. Dr. Whtte, 47, assumed his new duties on July 1, 1991. He succeeds Dr. Phil Sutphin who was chosen Dean of Instruction replacing the retiring Dr. Brad Tucker. Since 1974, White has also traveled throughout the south– eastern United States serving as a consultant and lecturer on time management and stress. He ts a graduate of Louisville High School, East Central Junior College, Delta State University, where he received a bachelor's of science degree in Physical Education/Social Science; and Mississippi State University, where he received a master's of cd~a.-
