If l<;ast Central's Lady Warriors can get past Pearl River in Poplarville tonight, Thursday night will pair two of the nation's top 10 teams in Decatur when ECCC hosts Copiah-Lincoln. The Lady Warriors are 16-1 overall and 9-1 in the MJCA South Division as well as ranked No. 7 na– tionally. Co-Lin (21-1, 10-1) is No. 8 in the NJCAA women's poll . But. before the South Division title showdown, ECCC must visit Pearl River's Lady Wildcats (9-12, 5·6> tonight. The Lady Warriors took a 78-72 win over Pcal'1 Hiver at Decatur on Jan 18. The Lady Wildcats are led by Charzes Silas, who leads Region 23 in ~('CII'ing with a 29.6 average. She also averages

9.3 reoounds.

Former PRCC star Antrice McGill, who current– ly plays at Ole Miss, recently called ECCC the Lady Wildcats' biggest rival, so an ECCC win won't be easy. Awin over Co-Lin would still give ECCC the South title regardless of the outcome of the Pearl River game.

The ECCC men's team (8-13, 4-6) will also go to Pearl River (8-15, 2-9) before hosting Co-Lin ( 16-8, 6-5) on Thursday. Awin at Pearl River and at least a seven-point win over Co-Lin could move the War– riors into the third spot in the South Division.
