Kristi Patrick selected EC's Most Beautiful

Kristi Patrick, a sophomore from Carthage. won the title of Most Beautiful at East Central Communi– ty College during the school's an– nual pageant actiVities held Nov. 27 in Huff Auditorium on the Decatur campus. A liberal arts major, the Leake Academy graduate is the daughter of Ann and Jeff Sanders of Carthage and Tommy Patrick of Wesson. Chosen as Most Handsome by a vote of the student body is Brent Bailey, who is also a sophomore from Carthage, A graduate of Car– thage High School, the engineering major is the son of Misty and Barry Bailey. Beauties selected include sophomores Michelle E verett. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Everett Jr. of Hickory, and Buffy Reeves, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Reeves of Decatur ; and freshmen Pamela Belk. daughter of Diane and Dolphus Belk of Union. and Christina Wood, daughter of Mr and Mrs. Keith Wood of Decatur. Beaus named are sophomores Wesley Barrett, son of Jack and Martha Barrett of Decatur, Scott McNair, son of !\lr and Mrs. Hugh McNair of Philadelphia. and Brian

Cooper, son of Don and Martha Cooper of Decatur; and freshman Chad Harrison, son of Barbara and Mike Harrison of Union. Rounding out the top 10 selection are sophomores Stacie Ely, daughter of James and Sue Ely of Philadelphia, Bethany Jinkerson, daughter of Nancy and Milton Jinkerson of Sebastopol, and Suzanne Smith, daughter of Bobby and Shelby Smith of Philadelphia ; and freshmen Stephanie Warren, daughter of Pat and Dudley Warren of Philadelphia, and Brandy White, daughter of Cathy and Buddy White, also of Philadelphia. Serving as pageant judges were Camille Gilliland, Carol Gilliland and Ike Andre-...,'S. all of Meridian. East Central speech and theatre instructor Judy Carroll served as mistress of ceremonies. Entertamment was provided by ECCC students Shannon McNeil of Ptuladelph1a, Lisa Thompson and Ardy Reed, both of Louisville, and Jana Fanning of Hickory. Sponsored by the Wo-He-Le year– book staff, the pageant was held under the supervision of music in– structor Leesa Lee.
