Ventriloquist to perform Thursday at East Central Community College

Dennis Lee, a multi-talented ven– triloquist from Dallas, Texas is once agam bringing his a\\ard-winning act to the campus of East Central Community College m Decatur. His highly entertaining program, wh1ch has captivated audiences from coast to coast, will be presented at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15 , 1990 in Huff \uditorium. Hio; performance is being spon– sored by Baptist Student Unions at East Central Community College and Clarke College m Newton. Lee captured top honors at the 12th Annual International Ventrilo– quist Convention held in Ft. Mit– chell, Kentucky where he also won 1 he "Originality Award" for the nost unique performance. He is currently performmg a nti– drug programs in conjunction with E:-.press Industries in the Texas school systems. His corporate performances in– dude companies like AT&T, Xerox and the Trammel Crow Corpora– tion. He has also performed for the Texas Department of Human Ser– VICes, American Cancer Soc1cty and churches and schools throughout the Southwest, Hawaii and Brazil.

Lee was a guest entertainer at the " Mississippi Baptist Youth Night" held during 1989 at the Jackson Coliseum. He has been featured on numerous cable tele\.ision programs and on ABC's World News Tomght. Lee previously entertained on the Decatur campus m February 1989.

Tickets for the Dennis Lee and "Friends" performances are $3.00 in advance and $4.00 at the door. The program is free for any college student with a current ID.
