Registration Set July 9 for ECCC Second Summer Term
from 8 a. m. to 10 a . m. include English Composition II, college algebra, and World Civilization 11. General biology, which includes lec– ture and lab, begins at 7:30a.m. and \\til end at 10:30 a.m. Second period courses, those meeting from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p. m.. tnclude English Literature II, oral communication, American na– tional government and tngonometry. Registration for day classes of– fered during the second five-week summer term at East Central Com– munity College in Decatur is scheduled to begin at 9 a . m. Mon– day, July 9, in Room 60 of Newton Hall , announced Raymond McMullan, Director of Admissions, Records and Research. Classes will start Tuesday, July 10. Dr Sutphin said students have an opportumty to advance regtster for fall semester classes and learn of the many academic, soctal and personal op– portunities avatlable on the East Central campus. Students and parents are also treated to a com– plimentary lunch buffet held tn Mabry cafeteria. The dean of students satd three other orientation sesstons are scheduled in Decatur and wtll be held Wednesday, July 18; Tuesday. July 31; and Saturday, Aug. 18. Each session begins at 8 a. m. with registration taking place in the Fine Arts Center. Students are asked to furnish the following to complete an orientation session : Application for admission. ACT score (for academic/technical students only - not applicable to vocational students). High school transcript. College transcript(s) if a transfer student and, Registration fee of $50 which is ap– plied toward fees to attend in the fall .
