Ben Guthrie Receives honors Ben Guthrie of Forest received several honors during the recent Awards Day activities held at East Central Community College in Decatur. Guthrie, a sophomore majoring 1n Business Administra– tion was presented the Jack B. Mayo Ph1Theta Kappa Award and the Wallace C. Bedwell Award given to an outstanding Business student. Phi Theta Kappa is a na– tional honorary fraternity for com– munity and junior college students. A graduate of Scott Central High School, he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pace Guthrie of Forest.
