NHS BAND MEMBERS PARTICIPATE NHSBand Members participate in ECCC clinic

chair, fiCSt band. He is eligible for a $2400 ECCC band scholarship. NHS Band members will be parti– cipating in more clinics in the com– ing weeks, as well as State Band Contest in late March.

Those makeing second band were: Catina Chapman, flute; Connie Chapman, oboe; Erica Robinson, allO saxa– phone; Karrnashia Moore and There– sa McKinion, trumpets; Angela For– tenberry, tuba; Desmond Johnson, percussion. Six of these students earned ftrst chair positions in their respective sections and bands. They were: Amy Riggle, Veronica Gard– ner, Tommy Denson, and James Roberts, First Band; Erica Robinson and Desmond Johnson, Second Band.
