NHS BAND MEMBERS PARTICIPATE NHSBand Members participate in ECCC clinic
chair, fiCSt band. He is eligible for a $2400 ECCC band scholarship. NHS Band members will be parti– cipating in more clinics in the com– ing weeks, as well as State Band Contest in late March.
ArringlOn, clarinets; Helene Walker and Irish Evans, bass clarinets; Ver– onica Gardner, contra-bass clarinet; Tommy Denson, allO saxaphone; Terry McKinion and David Tillman, trombones; Billy Evans, baritone; James Roberts, percussion. Those makeing second band were: Catina Chapman, flute; Connie Chapman, oboe; Erica Robinson, allO saxa– phone; Karrnashia Moore and There– sa McKinion, trumpets; Angela For– tenberry, tuba; Desmond Johnson, percussion. Six of these students earned ftrst chair positions in their respective sections and bands. They were: Amy Riggle, Veronica Gard– ner, Tommy Denson, and James Roberts, First Band; Erica Robinson and Desmond Johnson, Second Band.
