STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT· The National Junior/Community CoJJege Athletic Association Reg– Ion 23 and MS Association of Community and Junjor Colleges state golf tournament was held at Hickory Hills Country Club at Gautier recently. Coordinating the torunament were (from left) Joe Clark, East Central Community College coach , vice chairman of MS Golf Coaches; Polly Rabalais, Hinds Community college coach, chainnan of MS Golf Coaches; Lee Anderson, Hickory Hills cus· tomer service representative; Mac McLellan, Commission of MACJC activities; and Charles Coop– er, Gulf Coast Community College coach, tournament director and host. Northwest Community Col– lege took home the state and regional championships, followed by GCCC and Hinds. Overall toru– nament medalist was Jack Patterson, NWCC, with a two-day score of 113. Other players making the All-Region team were Michael Zlzman, NWCC, 116; Craig Lauderdale, Northeast Community Col– lege, 118; Brad White, 116, and David Mclendon, 120, both from Coplah-Lincoln Community Col· l~ge.
