1op rushers for EC were Willie McClelland, who bad 98 yards on 10 carries; Sammie Holifield, 81 yards on 14 carries a nd Anthony Walker, 55 yards on 14 a ttemp ts. Lamont Byrd completed si.x o f 15 passes for 127 yards. Tony Kidd led aU receivers with three catches for 79 ya rds. Byrd punted once for 53 yards. East Central was penalized 12 times for 115 yards while Gulf Coast was assessed six times fo r 30 yards. Defensively, Wyatt Williams led the EC attack with nine solo tackles and fo u r assists.
