Refund policy announced for students called to duty

student who withdraws from the col– lege because of military obligations as described will not receive any grades. Student records will show evidence of the withdrawals with documentation on fiJe. Also, any student who completes at leas t 13 weeks of a semester, who is tn good standing with the college, and who has not exceeded allowable absences during the 13-week period has the option to remain enrolled at the college without refund of any of the above-specified tuition or fees. Such s tudents would be eligible within 90 days after release from ac– lJve duty to make arrangements to take fmal examinations for all courses and would be eligible to receive credit for the courses. Final grades for all courses will be based upon scores on final examinations and grades recorded during the 13-week per iod.

East Central Community College has announced a special refund ;x>liey for students called inoo acth·-e military duty during the 1990-91 col– lege session. The s pecial policy, whlch was adopted during the September meeting of the college's Board of 'l'rustees, states that any student who is a member of the )lississtppl National Guard or anv of l.b~ reserve components of the Uruted States Armed Forces a nd who has been placed in active duty or drafted for service by orders of the Presi– dent of the United States may oo allowed ID withdrawas a student of the college and receive a full tuition refund including out-of-state fees cti applicable), student fees and any special fees.
