She ts an active member of the ·a· I02J Association of Dancers and Alfthated Artists and presently en-es a state secretary-treasurer of Mis..'1SS1pp1 Chapter 55. Mrs. Weems is a certified member of the l!ruted States Gymnastic Federation and is responsible for coaching male and female com– petill\'e and recreational gymnasts. She is also a certified USGF male gymnasts judge for the State of ~itssis.slppl. She 1S the annual director and choreographer for the Newton Coun– t) Junior Miss Program and travels extensively to judge for different pageant systems throughout the Southern states Her travels include many local, state and national level dance seminars and dance conven– tions, gymnastic clinics and camps. She also holds certification to teach talented/gifted students. She is ma rried to Johnnil! F. Weems Jr. of Newton and they have three boys : Hoop, Kirk and Chris.
