Vandy Hopson, each with one re– bound. Eric Mays also saw action. East Central led 36-27 at halftime. Carthage sophomore Carolyn Boat– man led the Lady Warriors with 21 points and seven rebounds. Also scoring were Shontel Lowe, 19 points and eight rebounds ; Paula Nash, eight and five; Brook Smith, four and one; Jackie Gladney, three and one; and Beverly Ware and Gloria Clay, each with two points and one rebound. In games this week, the East Cen– tral men will participate in a tourna– ment scheduled November 19-20 at Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville. Following the Thanksgiving holidays, the Warriors return to ac– tion November 28 by challengrng Rhodes College in Horn Lake and then taking on Christian Brothers on December 1st in Southaven. Both EC squads begin South Divi– sion action December 3rd at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston.
