Honored for Service Six East Central Community CoUege personnel recently earned the 20-year service mark and were honored during a reception and tea on the college campus. Those who have achieved two decades of service at East Central include, from left, Mrs. Alice Pouncey, psychology instructor– fashion squad sponsor; Mrs. Carrie Ann Alford , English instructor; Willard Clay, welding in– structor; Chester Clark, assistant director of vocational- technical instruction; Mrs. Ann Burkes, librarian; and Mrs. Mary Massengale, campus nurse - EMT instructo'r. Mrs. Pouncey, an Enter– prise native who resides in Decatur, also served as home economics teacher for 17 ,years. Mrs. Alf ord, a former sponso r of the Tom-Tom, the campus newspaper, lives in Philadelphia and is a native of the Neshoba County city. Clay, a native of Noxapater, resides in Decatur. Besides his current position , Clark, also a Nesboba County native, bas served as drafting instructor and lives in Union . Mrs. Burkes resides in her hometown of Decatur and Mrs . Massengale also lives in her hometown of Hickory.
