Rebel signee bound for East Central Ole Miss basketball signee Michael James will at– tend East Central Community C<>llege, Rebels coach Ed Murphy announced. James, a 6-foot-7 forward, would have been academically ineligible at Ole Miss under NCAA Proposition 48. "We're disappointed· that Michael could not immediately join our pro– gram, but I'm glad he has decided to continue his education here in Mississippi," Murphy said. "Hopefully, he can go down to East Central and con– tinue his academic hard work, get two years ofjunior college basketball experience and rejoin our ,.... gram."
