Knox Huff, an attorney from Forest who seved as a member of the board of trustees for 23 years, and seats 1,050. Huff Auditorium had never been refurbished since its construction and has been in need of a facelift, Dr. Smith said. Further renovations planned for the auditorium include replacement of the stage lighting, the sound system, the floor covering and the seating, at a cost of. $120,000. The. original fl~r tile will be replaced wath commercial grade tile, and the original seating with upholstered theater seats. Dr. Smith said each of the projects will be under– taken as funds become available. He said comple– tion is expected in 1994.
