He also recorded 83 tackles, (42 solo). • Tight end Oscar Bunch (6-2, 220) of Jones : The Heidelberg native caught 24 passes for 578 yards and seven touchdowns. • 1'ailback Darnell Brown (5-8, 175) of ECCC: The Decatur native rushed for 421 yards and three touchdowns on 88 carries. He had an 85-yard touchdown run against Copiah-Lincoln. • Quarterback Leonard Williams (5-9, 165) from Jones: The New Orleans, La., native completed 126 of 271 passes for 2,186 yards and 23 touchdowns,

Once Ronnie Williamson wus a quarter;back. For the last two seasons though, the East Central Community College defensive end has bL>e~ chasing quarterbacks. Williamson did good enough to be chosen to play in Saturday's 1:30 p.m. Mississippi Junior College All-Star Football Game at Northeast Community College in Booneville. The 6-foot-4, 215·pounder from Nanih Waiya was also good enough at quarterback in high school to be picked to the 1987 all-star game and earn a scholarship with Delta State. After a rcdshirt year in Cleveland, Williamson transferred to ECCC. Williamson recorded 49 total tackles (3·t solo> as a sophomore. In several games, he drew double·team blocks as the result of his pressure on the quarterbacks. He also handled most of the kicking chores for the Warriors with his 28-yard field goal at the final horn

Holifield, who prepped at West Jo.nes High School, played a vital blocking role as the Bobcats rushed for 1,ffll yards and passed for 2,Z·~· • in scor– ing 41 offensive touchdowns and averaging 35.3 points per game.
