NR- <1-5-~ East Central Loses Opener
Anthony Berry was good. The only other scoring attempt came when ltawamba attempted a 20 yard field goal leaving the score at half-time 7-0. ltawamba's second touchdown came· late in the 3rd quarter. The drive followed an interception of a David Pleasant pass with Glen Ivy scoring on a 25 yard run. Berry kicked the extra point with .39 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. The score stayed 14 to 0 till late in the fourth quarter when Berry kicked a twenty yard field goal.
East Central opens season on a down note when the ltawamba Indians defeated the Warriors by a score of 17-0 Saturday night at Warrior Stadium. First quarter found both teams invading each others territory without success. Indian Mitch Eubanks led his team in the second quarter with a 25 yard drive. The big play coming from Mike Smith to tight-end Calvin Thompson for 23 yards. Glen Ivy scored from the 1 yard out. Extra point kicked by Indian
