Senate Honors ECJC Scholars Bowl Team The Mississippi Senate has passed a resolution honoring the East Central Junior College Scholar's Bowl team, recent winners of the state– wide competition held annually at the University of Mississippi. During a brief ceremony before the entire chamber, Senator Alan Heflin of Forest, who represents Scott, Newton and west Lauder– dale counties, read the resolution aloud and in– troduced team members and college officials to the state senators. Ssnator Heflin co-sponsored the resolution along with senators V.C. Manning, who represents Choctaw, Neshoba, and Winston counties: Buddy Bond, who serves from Attala, Carroll, Choctaw, Montgomery, Webster, and Leake counties; and Hainon Miller, who represen– ts Sharkey and Washington counties.
