East Central's Lady Warriors Get Two Consecutive Wins From Special Reports

For the second time in as many games, Eichelberger was held below her 26.9 point average. She finished the game with 17 points. Beverly Chambers paced the Lady Warriors with 20 pomts while Townsend had 14 and Miller had 12. East Central head coach Lucille Wood said that her "girls are playing good ball. We only have two sophomore.s on our team and the freshmen are making a contr tbullon. ·•

The East Central Junior College women picked up two important South Division games last week to improve their record to 6-S rn league play. The Lady Warriors' first vtctory came at Pearl River. ECJC claimed a 73-63 victory despite Joy Eichelberger, the number two scorer in the nation, being held to 13 pomts. Sophomore forward Beverly Chambers picked up the slack however, scormg 20 points while Sethia Townsend had 12 and Karen Miller had 12 The big victory of the week came against South Utica.
