SCHOLARS BOWL WINNERS••. For the second consecutive year, a team of students from East Central Junior College has won the annual "Ole Miss Scholars Bowl" held at The University of Mississippi. The ECJC team competed against 19 other Mississippi junior colleges during the two-day event, answering questions concerning science, humanities, professional programs, letters, and the fine and performing arts in a contest modeled after the television version of "College Bowl". Over $150,000 in scholarships to the University were awarded to participatina teams. Representing ECJC in the competition were (from left) team adviser Dr. Shelby Harris of Decatur, Kevin Thompson of Philadelphia, Mark Eldrid&e of Union, Chris Collins of Union and Bob Weidler of Decatur. Ole Miss Chancellor Gerald Tomer (ri&ht) presented the rotatina Scholars Bowl trophy to the winning team.
