Initiated... Scott County students at East Central Junior College who were recently inducted into Theta Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, a national honorary society, include, from left, John Hardin, freshman from Forest; Mary Ann Gray, spohomore, Forest; and Jeff Register, freshman, Morton. Phi Theta Kappa, with more th~n 700 chapters, is the only na– tionally acclaimed honor fraternity serving American institutions which offer regionally accredited associate degree programs. Among requirements for membership, freshmen students must have at least a 3.4 grade point average and sophomore students are required to have at least a 3.3 GPA.
