The East Central Junior College Warriorettes have added two more wins to thetr record and the Warriors took on Holmes Junior College on the ECJC campus. With a halftime score of 57-33m the Warriorettes favor, they went on to blast Holmes with a 105-67 win. Joy Eichelberger of Louisville put 37 points on the board for East Central followed by Karen Miller of Louisville with 22 poinl'>, Beverly Chambers of Lena (a graduate of Morton High Schoo}) wtth 16 points, and Beverly Bowte of Lena (a graduate of Morton H1gh School) wtth 14 points High scorers. for Holmes were Barbara Harris with 32 points, Debbie Douglas with 13 points, and Corme Dent with 11 pomts. In the men·s game, with a tied halftime score of 30-30, the Warriors were defeated bv Holmes in the end 75-56. Ricky Griffith of Ashland, KY led the Warrtors v. ith 16 points, follow– ed by Kenn)- ~lorgan of Morton with 13 pomts. and Drew Garvm of Wurtland, KY v.tth 11 pomts. High scorers for Holme:. v;ere Johnny J ames v. 1lh 28 points and James Lehaman v. 1th 1-t pomts On Jan 21 Hmds Juruor College met with defeat as the \\ arnorettes led at the half 51-30 and v.ent on to win the game 90-83. !\lill~r and Chambers led ECJC with 22 points, followed by Eichelberger v.tth 21 points. Leading Hinds were Tracev Parker with 31 points, Tamra Haggard wllh 20 points, Sharon Smith With 12 points, and Gail Lobue v.tth 10 pomts. In the second game of the night, Hinds dropped a 75-66 defeat on the Warriors. Mike Mills of Helena, AK put 25 points on the board for ECJC followed by Griffith with H points, and Ronn1e Bender of Louisville With 12 points. High scorers for Hinds were Robert Randolph with '1:1 points. Alray Lewis with 15 points. Alvin !\forris with 14 points, and Lawson Veal With 12 points.
