ECJC Alumni Announces Homecoming Activities

The East Central Junior College Alumni Association officers met recently on the ECJC campus and planned the schedule of events for the 1984 Homecoming on October 13. The special reunion group this year will be the 1965 and 1966 football teams coached by Dan Chatwood and assisted by Hansel King and Ken Pouncey. The 60 players, managers, and coaches have been located and invited. The steering committee from the '65 and '66 teams has helped to plan their reunion which will begin at noon with a picnic at Turkey Creek Waterpark for the coaches, team, managers, and their families. On-campus Homecoming events will begin with the parade at 4 p.m. followed by a reception in the Fine · Arts Building at 4:30 p.m. honoring the "Alumnus of the Year" and the

"Distinguished Faculty Member." The Alumni Banquet is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in W. C. Mabry Cafeteria where the honorees and Classes of 1934, 1944, 1954, 1964, 1974, and 1984 will be recognized. The pre-game show is set for 7 p.m. on Warrior Field and kick-off time for the East Central-Hinds Junior College game is 7:30 p.m.
