9'epresenting ECJC in the Miss Mississippi Pageant--East Central Junior College's president, Dr. Eddie Smith is shown with Miss Lisa Dooley as she makes preparation to represent ECJC in the 28th annual Miss Mississippi Pageant to be held in Vicksburg, the week of July 17. Miss Dooley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman White (the late Clin– ton Dooley) of Louisville, will be a sophomore at Mississippi State University this fall as a clothing, textiles, and merchandising major. She will be one of forty-two Miss Mississippi contestants competing f0r the opportunity to represent the state at 'the Miss America Pageant which will be held in Atlantic City, N.J. The primary purpose of the pageant is to provide scholarships. This year the cash scholarships awarded by the Miss Mississippi Pageant will exceed $33,000.
