PHILADELPHIA GIRL IS QUEEN

Dayna Williamson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Williamson of Philadelphia, will be crowned East Cen– tral Junior College Homecoming Queen during homecoming activities on the campus October 15. The queen and her court will be presented during halftime of the East Central and Hinds game. Game time is 7:30 p.m. A graduate of Philadelphia High School, Dayna was a basketball standout being named Best Offensive Player, Most Valuable Player, All District and All Conference. Other high school honors-included Best All Round Girl, Friendliest Girl, and Senit?r Homecoming Maid. A four year honor student, Dayna was named to the Society of Distinguished American High School Students. Attending East Central on a basketball scholarship, Dayna is a sophomore majoring in computer science. Leadership positions at East Central include Student Body Associa– tion treasurer, Sophomore Dorm Council secretary, Fellowship of Christian Athletes treasurer, and French .Club vice-president. Dayna is a member of the Players, a campus drama group, and enjoys tennis and swimming.
