THAMES SISTERS ACTIVE AT ECJd Ethel and Marie Thames of ·Union are members of the East Central J unior I College Fashion Squad thi~ year. Alice Pouncey, sponsor for the group says that this is the first year East Central has had sisters as team members during the same schooi year: Both girls, graduates of Beulah Hubbard High School and daughters of Mary Lee Thames of Union; are 'members of the Home Economics Club and ROTC. Ethel (left) a sophomore pre-nursing major and second year member of the Fashion Squad, is a member of the Warrior Corps Recruiting Team and isain honor stud"'nt. Upon graduation from East Central in May, Ethel plans to continue her education at Matty Hersee School of Nm•sing. Marie (right). a freshman liberal arts major, is actiye in intramural sports and along with other Fashion Squad members assisted wijh the Charm Clinic recently sponsored by the Home Economics Department at ECiJC.
