Everett received a Zeta State Scholarship to further her education beyond the master's dgree at the University o f Southern Mississippi. In the Xi Chapter, which is composed of Neshoba and Newton county teachers, Everett has served in the positions of president, first and second vice-presidents, secretary, and chairman of most of the standing committees. Other honors which Mrs. Everett has received include the Woman of Achievement in Delt~ Kappa Gamma Award, and the Distinguished Faculty Member at East Central Junior College. Everett presently teaches at East Central Junior College and has served the Mississippi business teachers as its president. Outstanding Junior College Business Educator Award

On July 1, Mrs. Jessie Everett of East Central Junior College assumed the position of President of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International for the State of Mississippi. She was elec- ted at the State Convention held After getting the organization coordinated for the state, tier fir- st official duty will be to attend ship seminar for the state presidents and the Southeast Conference to be held in Charlot-1 te, North Carolina in August.
