When the Bobcat drive stalled, Fred Cooley kicked a 39 yard field goal to put Jones ahead 3-0 with 11:13 left in the first quarter. The Bobcats' v d y touchdown came in the third qu a r t e r when Sherman Saulsberry drove in from the 1 yard line, capping a 69 yard drive. Cooley added the extra point to pull the score to 14-10 but that was as close us the Bobcats came. The Warriors' first score came with 6:06 remaining in the first quarter whcn quartr-r- hack Orlando Vazrghn threw a 3 yard touchdowri strike to saac Harris.
