With the victory, East Central improved its record to 2-1 overall while East Mississippi dropped to 1-1. The Warriorss, 0-1 in South Division play, return t o division action this Saturday as they host Copiah-Lincoln in a 7:30 p.m. contest. Co-Lin rallied to defeat visiting Jones 21-20 in a key South Division battle also played Saturday night. East Mississippi had taken the lead for the first time late in the third period on a 31-yard run by running back Patrick King. David Rowe added the PAT and --.ith 1 :31 remaining the Lions led 1-14.
