Leading East Central were Johnny Gill of Walnut Grove and Ricky Griffith of Ashland, Kentucky with 14 points, followed by Steve Lewis of Walnut Grove with I1 points and Dexter Myricks of Carthage with 9 points. High scorer for Holmes was Charles Leahman with 22 polnts. On January 10 the Warriors again saw action at home with Gulf Coast Junior College as they were defeated 65-51. Grif- fith led ECJC with 13 points, followed by Myricks with 11 points and Barry Clark of Union with 8 points. Troy Bi- jou was the high scorer for the Gulf Coast Bulldogs with 19 points. On January 12 the ECJC Warriors traveled to Ellisville only to meet defeat by the Jones Junior College Bobcats 52-41. Criffith again led the Warriors with 12 points, followed by Drew Garvin of Wurtland, Kentucky and Will Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas with 8 points. High scorer for the Bobcats was Calvin Washington with 12 points.
