.53'", Alfred BAiley Alfred Bailey and Bruce Guraedy were selected as East Central Jgnior College's "Outstanding Vo- qtional and Academic Instructors 8 f the Year", respectively. Guraedy, a native of Forest has been the art instructor at ECJC for 10 years. His courses of instruction include Drawing, Design, Painting, Ceramics, Sculpture, Art Apprecia- tion, Art for Teachers, and Art History. He also conducts Continu- ing Education night courses in Adult Painting and Intensive crafts. A graduate of Forest High :hool, Guraedy continued his education at the University of Southern Mississippi where in 1975, he received his BA in Art with a minor in Communications with emphasis placed on photo- graphy, cinematography and raido- television production. In 1974, he was presented with a certificate in Art Education from USM. He received his Masters degree in 1976, also from USM. Further graduate work has been completedi at Mississippi College and Missis-.; sippi State University. Married to the former Linda Kay Knighten, Guraedy has one three year old son, Jason. Church, where he holds th position of Deacon and Churc Clerk. He is also a Moderator ( the Bethany Baptist Association. He is married to the forme Freda McKee and they have ' children, Al - 12, and Allisor years of age.
