ECJC president gets nat'l award During the Phi Theta Kapr National Convention he1 recently in St. Louis, MO, Ea: Central Junior College's pres dent, Dr. Charles V. Wrigl received the Michael M. Bei nett Distinguished Preside1 Award. The award is presente to the communityljunior cc lege president who has be: promoted the goals of PI Theta Kappa. Dr. Wright came to Decat~ in 1966 as President of Eat Central Junior College. Undc his leadership, many addition renovations, and other prj gressive changes have take place. Among some of these are: new Agricultural-Technolog Building; Vocational-Technic Facilities; Physical E ducatic Complex; Fine Arts Facilitie Newton-Hall-a new classroom building; and the Burton Library. He is also active in many civic and communit projects.
